A third of students not engaging with school work under lockdown.

A recent study by Professor Green at UCL has shown a huge disparity between the amount of work students have been doing under lockdown. On average students spend 2.5 hours on school work each day, but 20% of students are doing less than one hour.

The study also found that school provision varied enormously with some schools providing lots of online lessons, whilst others only set work from books, with limited access to teachers. Professor Green's study showed that 71% of state school students receive no or less than one daily online lessons.
